the mid to late 1940s would wear began to circle the globe. Fashion
designer Christian Dior, in Paris, came out with new creations
displaying the abundance that followed the depression during WWII.
His close to the waist styles and full skirts that used 20 yards of
fabric would become the style for almost the next fifteen years!
